Hawkins Classic Pressure Cooker Review

The Hawkins Classic is an effective pressure cooker with an aluminium construction. The Classic is the best selling in the range, with a long history, although it has been massively improved since its first incarnation. The Hawkins Classic is designed with safety in mind. It has stay-cool handles, a thick base and a sealing mechanism which only allows it to open when there's no pressure.

One feature of interest is the pressure regulator. This mechanism is designed to automatically set the pressure to optimal levels for fast and efficient cooking. • Construction - The pressure cooker is made from commercially pure virgin aluminium which has a mirror polish finish. The base has a matt finish. The gasket is designed to be long lasting.
• Pressure Regulator - The cooker has a pressure regulator which provides the optimal pressure for fast cooking.
• Safety Features - The safety features include stay-cool handles, a 3.25mm thick base, a shielded safety valve and an inside seal which ensures that the lid remains on until the pressure has been released.

All things considered, the Hawkins Classic Pressure Cooker is up to the job. It's available in numerous sizes, from 1.5 litres up to 12 litres, and is suitable for a wide range of dishes.
