One thing we like in particular regarding the design is its curved body which allows you to easily get food out from the bottom, and also lets you stir more easily. It also helps prevent issues with sticking and burning. The Hawkins Contura comes with capacities ranging from 1.5 to 6.5 litres, although we picture the 5 litre edition here. It's also equipped with a number of safety features, including cool-touch handles and a mechanism which only allows the lid to release once the pressure has dropped to safe levels.
